Kristian Stanfill - 이 잘 생긴 남자가 누굴까?

나는 이 남자를 Passion 2006 앨범에서 처음 봤다. 사실 목소리만 듣고는 누군지 잘 몰랐다. 찰리홀 같기도 하고 .... ;;  Jesus Paid it all 이라는 (한국 찬송가는 197장, 이 세상 험하고...) 노래를 불렀다. Chris Tomlin과 함께 등장한 이 남자는 알고 보니 2000년부터 활동을 했다고 한다. 크리스탐린, 데이빗크라우더 밴드, 찰리홀 등이 속해있는 Sixsteps Records에 몸담고 있다.

그는 13살 때부터 고등학생 시절까지 모교회에서 찬양인도를 했고, 2002년 졸업하면서 조지아주의 North Point Community Church에서 찬양인도를 했다고 한다. 그곳에서 Passion의 설립자 루이 기글리오(Louie Giglio)를 만났다고 한다. 그 후로 그는 Passion 2006, Passion: God of this City 등에서 찬양인도를 할 수 있었다.

i grew up in marietta ga on robinson road. now i live in cumming ga where there are alot of farms. it got to crazy and loud in marietta for my wife kerri and i. we've been married for almost three years. we have a 4 month old son named isaac. he's pretty incredible. he has my feet and his eyes smile like mine. i've been playing guitar and singing since i was about 13. i remember filling up spiral notebooks full of songs before i even knew what chords i was playing. i would make up names for the chords that i now know to be G C D Em and D/F. those songs weren't very good...but you don't just wake up and start writing great songs. i still love to write. i know a few more chords now. i'm not especially good at communicating with words sometimes...so i do it with music. now im a little better at forming a sentance but i still usually let the songs speak for themselves. i'm in a band with 3 of my best friends. alex, joe, tim and i travel and play music all over. we're all very different people but we work together pretty well. im not sure exactly what im going to do as a songwriter or singer, or what wer'e going to do as a band, but i believe it's going to be different. im going to keep writing the songs and dreaming the dreams that are given to me and take one step at a time.
